知名的葡萄酒大師Clive Coates曾說，Ramonet的白葡萄酒地位和酒神Henri Jayer與DRC的紅酒一樣崇高。

在二戰以前，Chassagne-Montrachet 的葡萄園有六成以上面積種植Pinot Noir，曾經是以紅酒為主導的產區。

二戰後經濟復甦，市場對白葡萄酒的需求與日俱增，許多Chassagne村酒莊改種Chardonnay，釀造濃郁且層次豐富的白酒，以此享譽國際。經典的Chassagne白酒帶著奶油香氣，交織著西洋梨、鳳梨等熱帶水果風味，比起隔壁的Puligny村生產的白酒，多了些圓潤飽滿。

而比起其他酒莊更早耕耘白葡萄酒的Domaine Ramonet，在Chassange村歷史上佔了重要的地位。

1934年 美國的葡萄酒商人Frank M. Schoonmaker，因法國葡萄酒評論家Raymond Baudoin的推薦，將一款Ramonet白酒進口到美國(Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Ruchottes) ，當時美國人第一次喝到勃根地酒莊裝瓶的白酒，驚嘆於其品質與風味，就此一炮而紅。

不久以後Ramonet酒莊的盛譽傳回了法國，許多老牌餐廳爭相向酒莊下訂單，很快的，Ramonet的酒成為法國餐廳酒單上不可少的選項。Ramonet酒莊更是成為了伯恩丘最知名的酒莊，而第一代莊主Pierre Ramonet更是在勃根地釀酒師中有如神話般的存在。

Pierre Ramonet 於 1930 年代開始在 Montrachet 山周邊購買土地，到 1950 年代，他就擁有數個特級園和一級園。1970 年代，他收購了如今價值連城的Montrachet (0.2公頃)，現在 Ramonet 酒莊擁有17 公頃的葡萄園，主要位於Chassagne-Montrachet，和少量位於 Puligny-Montrachet 的三個特級園。

Ramonet家將酒莊傳至今天第三代，Jean Claude和Noël Ramonet兄弟為酒莊負責人，他們年復一年釀出令人驚喜的作品，而產量永遠無法滿足國際需求。Jean Claude是主要釀造者，Noël則負責市場行銷，因此2013年以後酒標上印著的是Jean Claude的名字。

Ramonet酒莊的白酒各有其獨特的表現，有著明顯的礦物感，酒體渾厚飽滿，中高的酸度表現優美，陳年潛力極強。Ramonet的葡萄園內大多是荖藤，且以低產量以確保果實質量，除特級園使用100%新桶外，其餘至少使用30%新桶。

A notably elegant, pure and airy flashes a panoply of floral elements and in particular acacia blossom, along with spice and cool lemon-lime nuances.
