The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Village, matured in 30% new oak, has a really comely bouquet with immense purity and intensity, more premier cru in quality than village. The palate is brimming over with tart red cherries and strawberry, armed with superb mineralité from start to finish. It will require a couple of years to fully absorb the new oak, but will be worth waiting for.
