2014 Thibault Liger-Belair Bourgogne Les Grands Chaillots 750ml

A very mild touch of reduction shaves the top notes from the earthy red berry fruit-scented nose and I would suggest decanting this first. There is a really lovely sense of underlying tension to the relatively precise and stony middle weight flavors that possess good volume and fine length. This would make an excellent choice for an all-around house red plus it should repay a few years of cellar time too. (Drink starting 2019)
