This is also wonderfully pure and notably more elegant than it typically is and another difference is how cool the fruit is because the nose of a classic Fourneaux is usually quite ripe. By contrast, the natural robustness and power of Fourneaux is well represented by the rich, full-bodied and generous medium weight flavors that display firm tannins and excellent length. This is not a Savigny of finesse but there's plenty of wine here. (Drink starting 2016)
