2017 Domaine Robert Arnoux / Arnoux-Lachaux Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Suchots 750ml

Served after three grands crus not least because they are fortunate to be placed in the very best patch of Suchots, where there isn’t a dip in the ground, rubbing shoulders with Richebourg. Dense dark colour, heady fruit, almost liqueur in style yet with that gorgeous spice and white pepper from the whole bunches. This really is complete and there is just a prickle of acidity to keep it fresh. Tasted: November 2018.
