2017 Etienne Sauzet Bâtard-Montrachet 750ml

The fruit is all domaine these days. The rows are a continuation of those in Bienvenues-Bâtard, with an additional shoulder at the top. Similar pale colour but the nose is completely different. Much more flesh, an opulence to the fruit on the nose but it is all white fruit, plush indeed; actually an extraordinary wealth of fruit shows here, then good natural acidity comes up behind. This is really impressive. A fabulous mineral and lime infused finish. Tasted: October 2018.
