2018 A. et P. de Villaine Aligote Bouzeron 750ml

With organic smoked salmon and wild asparagus, I immediately thought of Aligoté in its finest rendition: Bouzeron. This 2018 is so softly delicious rather than vibrantly tangy. Full bodied yet fresh and balanced. This wine can normally age for many years, but this bottle will not get the chance. But note that lovely though this wine is, it does not deliver the chiselled austerity that many will be looking for when selecting an Aligoté.
