2018 Arnoux Lachaux Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Chaumes

0.90ha at 26 hl/ha delivered 10 barrels. I know that Les Chaumes is not the sexiest 1er cru in Vosne-Romanée, but please pay attention to this one! This has a deeper fresher colour and a superb weight of fruit where the whole bunch effect is in the background. A much more vibrant raspberry/strawberry cross. A sweet weight of fruit with the white pepper behind, this is absolutely complete, a masterpiece for Chaumes. Exceptional aftertaste with a perfect fine-grained tannic grip.
