The 2017 Echézeaux du Dessus Grand Cru has a luxurious bouquet of copious red cherry, crushed strawberry, orange zest and tangerine. The palate is medium-bodied with sumptuous red fruit, the richness offset by a fine bead of acidity. A little exotic but not ostentatious, revealing a tang of white pepper toward the persistent finish. Superb. (Drink between 2021-2039)
