A cool, pure and relatively refined nose speaks primarily of dark berry fruit liqueur, spice and warm earth notes. The rich, round and succulent middle weight flavors have a suave mouth feel as they too brim with an abundance of dry extract before culminating in a firm and ever-so-mildly rustic finish that delivers outstanding length for a villages level wine.
